Focused on You and Your Baby
At Northland Women’s Health Care, P.C., our all-female staff is comprised of dedicated individuals who are committed to providing you with an obstetric care experience that puts your health and the health of your baby first. We unite compassion with meticulous health care for mothers-to-be.
Your First Visit
At the first prenatal visit, we evaluate all risk factors that may impact the pregnancy. We counsel patients on first and second trimester screening for chromosomal abnormalities and neural tube defects. We will aid you with coping with symptoms of pregnancy, including morning sickness and other discomforts. We will also provide you with advice related to your diet, medication usage, and overall health during the course of your pregnancy. If you have questions or concerns before, during or after your delivery the physicians of Northland Women’s Health Care, P.C., will be here to help you. We understand the delicate nature of pregnancy and strive to guide our patients through a safe and healthy journey to motherhood.
In-House Ultrasounds
Ultrasounds are offered in the office as well as an optional gender ultrasound as early as 16 weeks gestation and 3D/4D ultrasonography. For patient convenience, we have in-house lab services available for necessary bloodwork.
Risk Management
Our physicians manage both low-risk and high-risk pregnancies. Risks such as diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disorders, pre-eclampsia, advanced maternal age, previous cesarean sections, gastric bypass surgery, and others are carefully managed by our staff. High-risk care is routinely coordinated with highly specialized perinatologists in the Kansas City area. Our staff coordinates all necessary appointments with other specialists and maintains close contact with them. We want our patients to focus on their pregnancy and health without worrying about the minor details.
Comfort and Technology Together
Former and current patients praise us for our ability to assist them through their pregnancies, including high-risk pregnancies. Our facilities are not only professional and clinical but also comfortable. As part of our commitment to excellence, our kind and highly-trained staff members often serve the same individual during multiple pregnancies. We utilize the best technologies to ensure that our Obstetrics services are thoroughly modern, and at the cutting-edge of the field. Our dedication is to the health of our patients and we would be honored to assist you during the course of your pregnancy.
