Billing Questions

What types of insurance do you take? Please visit our Accepted Insurance Plans page to view the different insurances we accept.

Do you accept self-pay patients? We currently accept OB self-pay patients. On your first visit, you will be asked to pay in full our global delivery fee. We accept cash or credit cards for this payment, no personal checks. This covers your in-office doctor's visits, our doctor's delivery fee and your postpartum visit. This does not include any ultrasounds, lab work or the hospital fee. If you have any questions, please call our billing office at 816-741-9122. For your convenience, we accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover cards.

Do I need to bring my insurance card with me to my visit? Yes, it is very important that you bring your current insurance card(s) with you. If you do not have an insurance card yet, we will attempt to file for you with a copy of your enrollment form from your employer. If neither of these is available, you will be considered self-pay and will be required to pay at the time of service. Your co-pay is due prior to your office visit. 

How is billing different while I am pregnant? If you are coming to our office for your pregnancy, you may want to contact your insurance company in regards to your maternity benefit. Our billing office will be contacting them also and will be making financial arrangements with you. Please feel free to call our billing office at 816-741-9122 if you have any further questions.
